Ghana striker Bashiru scores on Ismaily debut

Ghanaian striker Abdul Bashiru scored on his debut for Ismaily in the Egyptian League over the weekend as they drew with Ittihad El Shorta.

The Dreams FC player, who moved to the Egyptian side on loan during the winter, scored in the 5th minute at the June 30 Stadium with a fine finish and was a constant threat to the defence of the home side.

Ittihad came into the game strongly in the second half and netted through Nigerian midfielder Maarouf Yussif in the 90th minute.

The 21-year-old Ghanaian, who has also played for Sekondi XI Wise and Hearts of Oak, could be given a permanent deal at the end of the season.
