Ghana's Black Stars will begin their camping for the 2012 Nations Cup on January 7 in Rustenburg, South Africa.
The Black Stars who are aiming for a first African title in thirty years will stay spend the days leading up to the competition in South Africa with 23 players who KickOffGhana.com understands will be presented by coach Goran Stevanovic at a press conference in Accra on December 15.
Ghana are in group D of the Nations Cup alongside Botswana, Guinea and Mali and are under huge pressure back home to end the country's long wait for another Nations Cup title.
The latest to add his voice to that is former captain C.K Akunnor who says regardless of who will be in Gabon/Equitorial Guinea, Ghana must be looking to win.
"I don't want to dwell on which sides are absent next year because they were there when Ghana reached the final two years ago," he said.
"If you look at the route we've been on recently I think it goes without saying that we have to aim at winning. It is the only thing we can ask for."
