Accra, Feb 25, GNA - The Confederation of Africa Football (CAF) has selected Ghana to host courses in administrations and sports medicine. The courses are scheduled for the Ghanaman School of Excellence, Prampram, next Month.
Mr Kofi Nsiah, General Secretary of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) in a statement copied to the GNA Sports in Accra said, the course in soccer administration would be held from March 24-28 while the one on sports medicine takes place on March 26-30 at the same venue. The GFA scribe said Ghana was given the mandate to run the courses due to the confidence and the modest success it has gained with CAF and Federation of International Football Association (FIFA).
The statement said, due to the successful completion of the first goal project at Prapram, the nation has been given the opportunity to undertake the second phase dubbed "The Goal Two" by FIFA. Ghana is among 11 countries chosen by FIFA to benefit from the second project.
The project, Ghana's version of "FIFA House", which is to be funded by FIFA, will cost 3 billion cedis.
