Ghana warned over 'cursed' Fatau

Ghanaian football agent Blessing Danso Gyebi wants Fatau Dauda benched ahead of Ghana’s 2015 African Cup of Nations qualifiers against Uganda and Togo due to a ‘curse’ hanging on his neck.

Danso Gyebi is still peeved after the Black Stars shot-stopper refused to pay him 10% of his transfer fee to Orlando Pirates last year.

The football agent has consistently claimed he brokered the deal for the ex-Ashantigold last line of defense and is entitled to 10% of the transfer fee but Dauda has refused to give him his share of the cash.

He has invoked curses on the Chippa United recruit and claims until he fulfils part of the agreement, he would continue to be a disaster in post.

He has warned of dire consequences if Kwesi Appiah choses him to man the post against the Cranes on Saturday.

“I will urge Kwesi Appiah to use Stephen Adams because Fatau Dauda is still under a curse,” he told Peace FM

“Until he fulfils part of the bargain, he will continue to encounter problems. That is the stark reality of life.

“Look what is happening to him at club level is not coincidence. He has cheated me and until he redeems himself, he will be in more trouble.

“He may take it or leave it but you cannot cheat everybody and go scot free. He did the same thing to a girl and the mother has placed him under a curse.

“Kwesi Appiah should give Adams the chance to be in post because you cannot guarantee with Fatau.”

Dauda endured a difficult spell at Orlando Pirates where he was restricted to the substitute bench, forcing him to move to Chippa United at the start of the season.

He will face stiff competition from Spain-based Razak Brimah and Aduana Stars goalkeeper Stephen Adams for the number one position in Saturday’s game at the Baba Yara stadium.
