Former Ghana international Augustine Arhinful has lauded the various clubs in the Ghana Premier League after what he described as an effective preseason campaign for all clubs.

Champions AshGold who will be playing in Africa were recently beaten by Bechem United in a friendly encounter, before that the Champions looked flat in a GHALCA organized 6 competition.

Asante Kotoko who are the immediate dethroned Ghanaian champions were in Libya for two games and won the highly competitive GHALCA 6 competition quite easily.

Hearts of Oak have looked bright in their last two games against Inter Allies [1-1 ] and Ifeanyi Ubah [2-0] from Nigeria.

And Arhinful says he has monitored the clubs preparations ahead of the season and feels it’s been a good account.

“I think that we have to commend the clubs for the job they have done I think that all of them have done an effective job,” Arhinful told Accra based Citi-fm

“They have shown that even in the midst of difficulty they can keep themselves in shape and that is good.”

“ The only challenge is that it has been a long preseason and we hope it doesn’t have an effect on the teams.”
