in Ghana in 2010, the Internet search engine has revealed.
The world’s largest new media football community, Goal.com attracts over 15
million unique monthly users from every country on earth. Founded in 2004 by

and reporters from around the world to provide local coverage of the

The findings cap off a successful year for Goal.com in Ghana, with its
coverage of the African Cup of Nations 2010 the most comprehensive in the
nation and with the destination quickly becoming the go-to place for many
media outlets looking for the latest news and developments.
Goal.com is joined in Google’s top 10 list of the fastest rising searches of
2010 by ‘World Cup’ – testament to the surge in activity in Ghana around the
2010 FIFA World Cup, held in South Africa – as well as ‘Facebook’, ‘Skype’
and striker ‘Asanoah Gyan’.
