Great Odupon beat Agona Fankobaa

Cape Coast, Feb.5, GNA - Ofaako Great Odupon on Thursday worsened the plight of Agona Fankobaa when they beat them 2-0 in the on-going Central Region Division Two Middle League currently at the Robert Mensah Sports stadium at Cape Coast.

Fankobaa lost their first match 2-1 to Winneba Soccer Intellectuals. Great Odupon right from the blast of the whistle raided their opponents vital area for a considerable length of time and earned a penalty in the 25th minute from which their midfielder, Ntow Gyan converted for the firs goal.

Fankobaa resumed the second half strongly and made frantic efforts to equalise but their hopes of drawing level were shattered when Ntow Gyan was on hand to sneak through an offside trap to increase his side's tally to 2-0 in the 82nd minute.
