Ghana striker King Osei-Gyan has stated that he did not reject a move to FK Bryne as being reported by the Norwegian media, but only had ambitions to look elsewhere.
The 25-year-old striker is out of contract at Viking IF and the second-tier side was ready to sign him on.
“It was not that I rejected FK Bryne. I just wanted to try something new, that is to move out of Norway,” Osei-Gyan said to Goal Ghana. “There are numerous offers outside for me and hopefully things will go through.”
Groomed at the famous Right to Dream Football Academy in Ghana, the striker has featured for English side Fulham and Dutch side Germinal Beerschot whilst he has also been capped by Ghana at senior level.
