Hasaacas/Kotoko League match resheduled

Accra, Sept 19, GNA 96 The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has rescheduled the third Week One Touch Premier League match between Sekondi Hasaacas and Kumasi Asante Kotoko from Wednesday, September 20 to Thursday, September 21 at the Gyandu Park, Sekondi.

According to a release issued by K. Ampim-Darko, Deputy General Secretary of the GFA, the rescheduling has been necessitated by the late arrival of Kotoko in the country from Tunisia on Tuesday after their match against CS Sfaxien in the MTN/CAF Champions League in Sfax, Tunisia last Sunday.

He said the Referees Committee and the regional Sports development Officer, Sekondi and the two Clubs are therefore requested to take note of the change of date for the match.

The Premier League matches were postponed to enable Kotoko and Accra Hearts of Oak honour their respective matches of the MTN/CAF Champions League.

The two teams have however failed to make it to the semi-finals of the competition and will therefore pave the way for the continuation of the Premier League without any more postponements.
