Heart of lion brings in 5 experience players.

Kpando Heart of Lions have signed their ex-midfielder Edmund Owusu-Ansah. The club who struggled to survive relegation in the premier league for the past two seasons is determined to announce their superiority again by adding to their ranks Mozart Adjetey, Mohammed Tanko, Godwin Quarshigah as well as Prince Appiah from Dwarfs. Hearts of Lions have let go of their prolific goal scorer, Bernard Morrison to Kumasi Asante kotoko and Joseph Addo to Ashanti Gold, creating deficiency in the team. “Yes we have re-signed Edmund Owusu-Ansah and Mozart Adjetey. They helped us in the past and we thought it wise to bring them back to brighten the fortunes of the club. We have also brought in experienced Mohammed Tanko, Godwin Quarshigah as well as Prince Appiah from Ebusua Dwarfs”, Eric Collins Odoom, the club's media Officer told GBC/Volta Star Radio in an interview. He also confirmed Heart of Lions have agreed a three-year deal with coach Yusif Abubakar ahead of the 2013-14 season of the Glo Ghana Premier League. The new coach assumes post Tuesday August 20th after completing the contract late Monday evening. He joined Lions from Berekum Chelsea. Heart of Lions finished 13th last season in Glo Premier League and managed to survive relegation.
