Hearts Present Taylor Dossier To FIFA

With the Ghana Football Association refering the controversial Charles Taylor saga to world's football governing body FIFA , Accra Hearts of Oak have taken the first step by providing FIFA with a dossier on their version of the issue.

Sources within FIFA confirmed to this reporter this afternoon that FIFA has received by courier, information from Accra Hearts Of Oak which includes contracts that Charles Taylor signed with Hearts as well as a later contract he signed with Kotoko.

The FIFA official who pleaded anonymity added that even newspaper reports of Charles Taylor in Kotoko jersey as well as proposals from an Israeli first division team to sign Charles Taylor for $200,000 has been received by FIFA.The sources added that a detailed presentation of the issue has been made by the lawyer for the Accra club.

The source revealed that FIFA is yet to receive any information from Kotoko which he expects the Kumasi club to make soon for a proper understanding by FIFA of the Charles Taylor saga.

He said a date has not been fixed yet for the hearing of the case and that he suspects the Players' Status Committee which is headed by Tunisia's Slim Aloulou or the Legal Committee which is chaired by Scotland's David Will will hear the case.
