Hearts accept offer for Nuru Sulley switch to Libya’s Al Nasr

Accra Hearts of Oak has accepted an offer from Libyan topflight side Al-Nasr Sports, Cultural, and Social Club over defender Nuru Sulley, footy-Ghana.com can confirm.

The former Tudu Mighty Jets centre-back was in Libya last Friday to seal his personal terms and medicals before signing to a three-year deal with the Benghazi-based one-time Premier League Champions.

“The people (Al Nasr SCSC) presented an offer and we accepted so had to allow him [Nuru Sulley] go and seal his personal terms and medicals. It’s a procedure, and we are yet to sign to any agreement,” the Administrative Manager of Accra Hearts of Oak, Hackman Aidoo confirmed to footy-Ghana.com.

Nuru, who spent two seasons with the Phobians, will, after paper works are sorted between the two clubs, officially join his new teammates in the first week of August.

Hearts could pick a little over $100,000 as transfer fee.
