Accra, July 12, GNA - The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has summoned officials of Accra Hearts of Oak and Kumasi King Faisal to appear before its Disciplinary Committee on Thursday, July 14 at its Secretariat at 3.000pm.
The two clubs are among a number of clubs and officials who have been invited the GFA. Hearts engaged Faisal in last Sunday's tempestuous 13th week GT Premier League match at the Ohene Djan Sports Stadium Accra that recorded nasty scenes from both officials and supporters in reactions to certain decisions of the referee.
A statement signed by Mr Issac Addo, Administrative Officer of the GFA copied to the GNA Sports asked officials of all the Clubs and officials invited before the Committee to bring along any evidence that would expedite their respective cases.
The statement also invited officials of Faisal to appear before the Committee on two other cases during their GT Premier League matches against Dwarfs and Gomoa Fetteh Feyenoord played at the Cape Coast and Baba Yara Sports Stadiums in the 10th and 13th weeks.
Officials of Dwarfs and Hasaacas were also summoned to answer questions on incidents that happened during their 12th week league encounter played at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium.
Others invited to appear before the Committee are officials of Schalke 04 and Tarkwah United as well as the match officials. The invitation also goes to Sarmartex and Odupong clubs and their officials and the match officials.
The statement further invited Istanbul and Great Mariners clubs and their officials and the match officials as well as Zeytuna and Vora football club and their officials in addition to the match officials of the encounter.
It also invited Mr Jascort Wiafe, a player of Odupong FC and Mr Nuhie an official of Odupong to appear before it. The statement ended with a caution that those who fail to appear before the Committee would have their cases struck out for want of prosecution.
