ALGIERS, January 05 -- The Confederation of African Football, or CAF, has announced in Cairo that Ghana's Hearts of Oak and Zamalek of Egypt would represent the African continent during the 30 July-12 August 2001 world club championship to be held in Spain.

Hearts of Oak are holders of the African Champions League while Zamalek won the Cup Winners Cup
