The crisis in Accra Hearts of Oak looks to have escalated as they look to have sacked their popular but embattled Japanese coach Kenichi Yatsuhashi and put goalkeepers' trainer Nassam Yakubu in charge of Sunday's Premier League match against AshGold.
This comes less than 24 hours after the club's Sporting Director Joe Addo was fired as the former defender was accused of being in link with the coach.
The management of the Accra-based side have told the rookie league coach to stay off the team as the Phobians travel to Obuasi to play Ashgold on Sunday.
The decision comes after the trainer allegedly insulted management members describing them as "stupid and useless" in a meeting on Thursday at the club’s secretariat.
Goalkeeper’s trainer Nasamu Yakubu would now be in charge of the team for Sunday's encounter with the League Champions since assistant coach Yaw Preko is on national assignment with the Black Satellites.
Hearts is likely to play Kotoko with Yaw Preko leading them in their 10th week encounter at the Accra Sports Stadium on May 2.
