Bad weather in Mali has forced Accra Hearts of Oak to postpone their trip to Bamako from this afternoon to tomorrow morning.
Hearts were scheduled to fly to Bamako by a chartered flight on Thursday afternoon but the last minute message forced them to reschedule their flight to Friday morning, a day behind their expected arrival.
A member of the delegation who spoke to GNA Sports said the cancellation came about at the last minute when word filtered through that the severe Hamartan windy conditions currently prevailing in Mali is not safe for flying.
Hearts are billed to play Stade de Malien in the first leg of this year's Confederation of African Football club championship in Bamako on Sunday.
