Accra, May 9, GNA - Defending League Champions, Accra Hearts of Oak has stepped up preparations ahead of their crucial sixth-week crucial duel slated for the Baba Yara Sports Stadium against bitter rivals, Kumasi Asante Kotoko on Sunday, May 15.
The GNA Sports has learnt that the Phobians have vowed to endorse their dominance over highly bruised Asante Kotoko in recent times, and have subsequently lined-up two friendly matches against Maxbees and Network Academy on Thursday at the Ohene Djan Sports Stadium. Stop-gap coach Ofei Ansah supervised his goal-shy attackers to notch their first home win with a lone goal over Kpando Heart of Lions last Sunday and intends using the friendlies to effect the necessary correction before Sunday.
He would obviously focus on smoothening the rough edges of his attackers to enable them convert their chances.
Maxbees and Network Academy, Division One and Two campaigners respectively are expected to produce prototype performances of what Hearts should expect on Sunday.
