Head coach of Asante Kotoko, David Duncan has stated that he has no sympathy for Hearts of Oak in their current predicament as they struggling to survive in the league and even deepened the woes of his former side in Accra on match day 25 of the First Capital Plus Bank Premier League when he led Kotoko to edge them 2-1.
The Phobians might be laughing at the wrong side of their mouth if care is not taken as they might get relegated if they fail to win their next two games depending on the results of the other clubs.
But the former coach of the club, David Duncan whose contract was terminated by the club last season without any justification seems happy with the current state of the club as he feels no sympathy for his former employers and
“I have had many people ask me whether I feel sorry for Hearts of Oak in their present state, and the answer has remained the same, no.”
“Football is a game and I don’t think my relationship with them was anything different from what I have with Kotoko or any of the Club’s I have coached. It’s strictly professional, so what happens to a Club after I leave is of little importance to me,” David Duncan said.
The Accra giants currently sit at the 15 position with 36 points and they are one point adrift from the 12 and 13th placed team on the log sheet and they have do everything within their power to salvage the image of the club as relegation is stirring at their them.
