I have no qualms with Duncan - Damba

Goalkeeper’s trainer Abukari Damba has mentioned that he has no personal issues with former Hearts of Oak trainer David Duncan after reports in the media suggested a cold war between the two gentlemen.

According him he said it soon after he was sacked by Hearts of Oak that he does not hold anything against any member of the Club and the then technical team, and he still stands by it.

“I don’t where these things are coming from but personally I don’t have any issues with David Duncan and he knows it. We are not the best of friends, but that is very normal and I don’t think that it is anything strange in our line of job”, Damba told sportscrusader.com.

He said why should he hold on to something that happened almost three years ago, adding that he believes Duncan’s philosophies with regard to goalkeeping were not the same as his, hence the decision to bring on board another goalkeeper’s trainer i.e. Dan Tettevi to replace him.

“All over the world these things happen and there is nothing to be bitter about. Who knows we might end up working together again”, he added.
