I'll jump at the chance to play for Ghana again -Addy

Ghana defender, Lee Addy, has told Starr Fm Sports he is hoping to make a quick recovery from his niggling knee injury and earn a call up to the Black Stars.

The 24-year-old, who was part of the Ghana squad that finished as quarter finalist at the 2010 World Cup in South Africa, has not played for the Stars since he featured in the team’s friendly one-all draw against China in August 2012.

The former Red Star Belgrade center back has not been in action for his club, Dinamo Zagreb, since suffering the knee injury in a league game in February this year.

“Anybody will be very happy to represent his country or to get a national team call up.”

Lee Addy says he will be ready to start playing for the Black Stars once he recovers from his injury.

“I have been there before, I know how it is when you are not playing, the feeling is different, but right now, my focus is to recover in time and come back to the field, but I must confess, if I recover fully and I get a call up, I will gladly honor it” Addy concluded.
