Ex-Inter Allies technical head, Paa Kwesi Fabin, has for the first time after parting ways with the club, given the reason for his departure.
Fabin says his reason is to focus on the national U17 team, the Black Starlets.
The premier league outfit, announced last Monday their cancellation of their contract with Fabin on mutual grounds, but failed to provide details as to the reason for their action.
However, Fabin, who is also the coach of the national U17 side, says he resigned so he could concentrate on the national job.
“We are coming to form a new U-17 team and this requires a lot of time. If you concentrate on a job, you end up getting good results.
“I believe I will be spending more time with the Black Starlets and to coach Inter Allies at the same time won’t auger well, hence the need to choose one ahead of the other, but I decided to settle on Black Starlets,” Paa Kwesi Fabin said.
Paa Kwesi guided Inter Allies to finish 7th on the league log in the just-ended First Capital Plus Premier League.
As a result, Inter Allies on Tuesday reappointed Herbert Addo, who led them during the 2013-14 football season.
And Paa Kwesi Fabin thinks his former side’s decision to bring back Herbert Addo is a laudable idea.
“I believe he is one of the seasoned coaches in the country, so he can make a big impact,” he added
