I will go to court - CEO of Wa African United Threatens

The Chief Executive officer of Wa African United, Nana Gyamerah have vowed to go to court if the GFA dare to start the Ghana Premier League next month.

February 20 is the date for the commencement of the 2015/2016 season, according to GFA.

Wa African United and Techiman City were both demoted to the second division after the Ethics Committee of the Ghana Football Association found them guilty of match-fixing but Techiman City appealed the decision and were granted stay of execution until the Ethics Committee investigate the happenings.

Techiman City has been given the nod to participate in the 2016/2017 Ghana Premier League whist they deliberate on the issues at hand.

But Nana Gyamerah thinks that starting the league without going through the proper channel is out of place and he will go to court soon.

“Whoever plays in the league isn`t my concern, I only want sanity to prevail in our league so that it will serve as a good precedent for others and not that I do not want Techiman City to play in the league,” Nana Dwamena told Enoch Worlanyo Wallace Asempa FM.

“I will be heading to court for the right to place an injunction on the league until the right thing is done,” he added

There are rumors that some people are trying so hard for Nana Gyamerah to drop his intention to drag the FA to court, but he has vowed not to drop it.
