Accra Hearts of Oak Coach, Kenichi Yatsuhashi has said he will only select Samudeen Ibrahim to play when he deems the player is ready for action.
The mercurial midfielder has not featured for the Phobians since the first day of the season when they played New Edubiase United in Accra.
He was injured in that game, and, has only now returned to training as he battles to regain full fitness ahead of the rest of the season.
The Japanese-American Coach has been pressured by fans of the club to introduce Samudeen into action, but, he says he will have none of that as the player is not ready to play.
“I will not risk playing any player when I know they are not ready to play, Coach Keni said, adding that like all returning players, they will have to go through the same regiment of training to be able to be passed fit to play.
“The likes of Paul Acquah, Ashitey Ollenu and others have been through this system, and, are now playing, and Samudeen will have to follow suit,” he said.
Others like Inusah Musah, Thomas Abbey, Owusu Bempah and Isaac Oduro he added, are also going through the system, and, will all have to bid their time before been introduced into real match situation.
“We will continue working on them at the training grounds, and, when they are ready to play, you will see them in action,” Coach Keni said.
