Former Ghana international Laryea Kingston has told interested First Capital Plus Bank Premier League clubs not to attempt asking for his services because he won't play in the local scene anymore.

The 35-year-old who had stellar career with the Black Stars was rumored to be on radar of Great Olympics last season, but the deal never materialise.

Veteran players like Richard Kingston, Godwin Attram and Dan Quaye return to local scene last season raised the standard of the league which many thought will tempt Laryea into the pitch once again.

But the former Hearts midfielder who had a tough time with his boyhood club Hearts of Oak when he returned from Europe says he won't play in the Ghana league again.

"I am not thinking of coming back to play in the local league at the moment," Laryea told Joy Fm.

"Talking of Godwin Attram, Dan Quaye and Richard Kingston, I give them so much respect because it is not easy going up there to Europe and then you come down here to play.

"The facilities over there in Europe and then when you come down you don't have the same or something even close to that; and the way the management of the teams manage their clubs and the players, the difference is so clear that it is always difficult for players who move to Europe and come down here; they will always have problems.

"I give them that respect that they maintained their status and played throughout the season." Laryea added.

Laryea Kingston also reiterated that he has not retired from football and won't retire now.

"I have not retired yet, I have not announced my retirement and I'm not announcing it now; when the time comes for me to retire I will come out and tell everyone," he stated.
