Inter Allies coach Herbert Addo feels scandalized by the shambolic officiating he saw in his side’s 1-0 defeat at Medeama on Wednesday in an outstanding Ghana Premier League match.
The veteran trainer has accused referee Awal Mohammed of handing his side a raw deal at the T& A Park in Tarkwa.
Addo was shocked by the 16 free-kicks against his side and the eight minutes injury time during which Bernard Ofori scored.
The former Aduana Stars and Hearts coach suspects the referee was influenced.
"If the reports will go constantly, then we will stop referees from being rich. That’s all I can say. If not for the referee I thought we would have conceded a goal but that is football,” Addo told the press conference.
"Sixteen (16) free-kicks against your four. Fine it’s possible but where was the free-kicks but when we get the same, he says play on and eventual penalty.
"He played 8 minutes of injury time. Eight minutes for what? I don’t know what kind of refereeing we are seeing these day. All the teams, no team will go away and win."
