Ivorian attacker Kaplaka trains with Hearts

Former Asec Mimosas attacking midfielder Gouantohou J’T'Aime Kaplaka has joined Accra Hearts of Oak in training with a view to secure a permanent deal with the Phobians, footy-Ghana.com can confirm.

The 23-year-old Ivorian joins from Tunisian side Jeunesse Sportive Kairouanaise (JSK) where he has been playing for a little over a year now.

Kaplaka joined ASEC in 2010, leaving former club Stars Olympique Football Club in Abobo. He was however released to AS Denguélé who also sold him to the Tunisians last year.

Hearts are looking to bolster their squad as they attempt to mount a strong opposition for league leaders Asante Kotoko.

The Phobians currently lie 2nd on the league table; 4 points adrift their bitterest rivals Kotoko who have 27.
