It was all joy and ecstasy for Ghana left-back, Jeffery Schlupp as his Leicester City side escaped relegation in the English Premier League after drawing goalless with Sunderland while Hull City lost by 2-0 to Tottenham Hotspurs with two matches to go.
The competition was getting keener at the bottom of the table as Sunderland, Newcastle, Hull City, Leicester City, Burnley and Queens Park Rangers were all battling against relegation but securing a draw against Sunderland while Hull City lost to Tottenham Hotspurs has saved the Ghana left-back’s side.
Leicester City are now fifteenth on the 20-team league table with 37 points from 15 matches managing 10 wins, 7 draws and 19 losses, scoring 41 goals and conceding 50 in the process.
Schlupp played 29 out of the 36 premier league matches, scored 3 goals and attracted 4 yellow cards in the process.
