Joe Louis files for floating status

Accra, Dec. 14, GNA - Former Kumasi Asante Kotoko player, Joe Louis has filed for floating status from the Status Committee of the Ghana Football Association (GFA).

Louis, a key member of Kotoko in the 2002 soccer season is therefore scheduled to appear before the Committee on Thursday, December 16 alongside 14 other players.

The Kotoko player has for the past two seasons not featured regularly for his side, a situation that has compelled him to free himself from the club.

Other players to appear before the Committee are Richard Nii Noi of Accra Hearts of Oak, Ernest Opoku of Okwawu United/Bofoakwa, David Sharpe of Accra Great Olympics, Kofi Owusu of Power FC and Anthony Opoku of Bofoakwa Tano.

The rest are Fred Paintsil of Salami ACES/Joefia FC, Mohamed Abdellah and Shamsuden Kennedy of Zaytuna FC, Abeiku Adam from Silver Star, Nana Marboah from BRM S.C., James Asare of Tema Young Kotoko, Bismark Nyarko of Cornerstones and Joe Sam from Akwatia Diamond Stars.
