Enterprising Techiman City FC attacking midfielder Baba “John” Mahama has earned the praises of his team mates, for his explosive start to the campaign.

The trickery attacking sensation continues to amaze fans and opposing defenders in the opening matches of the season to earn himself the club’s player of the month award.

Blessed with quick feet and sublime passing range with either foot, the football president seems to have enslaved his colleagues with with his wizardry displays on weekly basis.

Mohammed Iddrisu, a team mate of the talented forward, lavished kind words on the media engulfed Mahama.

Mohammed, described his club mate as the perfect player any team will like to have in their ranks both on and off the pitch.

“Baba Mahama is our own version of Lionel Messi here in Techiman City FC.

He is a typical play maker, a pure dribbler with very strong eye for goals as well.

“He has been very instrumental for us as seen in the MTN FA cup clash with Aduana when he came off the bench to see us through from 2 goals down”, Mohammed briefed sports crusader exclusively.

Mohammed then expressed his personal excitement after scoring his opening goal of the season.

“I am very much happy to have scored my opening goal of the season away to New Edubiase.

It has improved my hunger for success from any part of the feild” , he added.

The hard tackling midfielder cum defender then fired a verbal warning to angered Accra Hearts of Oak ahead of their clash over the weekends.

“We are ready for Hearts of Oak at our favourite DEN.

We will silence them with the full support of our fans here in Techiman,” Mohammed concluded.
