'Sir' Jones Attuquayefio, the coach of the National Senior Football Team, the Black Stars, says the Ghana Football Administration has no justification to fire him.
The Coach was reacting to hints of the termination of his appointment by the Football Association, which has been reported in the media over the past two weeks. He added that although he was not privy to any such move by his employers, he does suspect that the move could be likely, considering the fact that he is yet to be presented with a formal contract three months after being offered the job.
When asked whether he and his assistant coach have been paid their salaries, Mr. Attuquayefio intimated that some monies have so far been advanced to them as far back as January after making several complaints. He however noted that those monies were only meant to cater for their transportation expenses and that they have since not received a dime of their agreed monthly remittances.
Meanwhile the acting Chairman of the GFA, Mr. S.A. Owusu-Ansah has denied news of sacking the Coach and that a final decision will be made on Thursday on the Coach's yet to be signed contract.
