Asante Kotoko midfielder Jordan Opoku has joined Albanian Premier League side Dinamo Tirana on a four month loan, GHANAsoccernet.com can confirm.
Both parties have concluded negotiations with the player agreeing personal terms with the former Albanian Champions till the end of the season in the South Eastern European country.
The 26-year-old will be a great addition for manager Ilir Daja whose side currently lie fifth on the league table.
Opoku was handed the captain’s arm band of the Porcupine Warriors under the short tenure of coach Ebo Mends for his work ethic and discipline since moving to the Kumasi-based club from Gomoa Fetteh Feyenoord.
The multi-functional talented midfielder has had previous loan spells at Excelsior and Royal Antwerp and also played for Dutch giants Feyenoord Rotterdam.
He was a member of Ghana’s squad that won silver at the maiden CHAN tournament in Ivory Coast in 2009.
