Juventus to use Asamoah in midfield

Juventus boss Antonio Conte is reportedly considering to use Kwadwo Asamoah in central midfield against Sassuolo.

The Ghana international has been mainly used as a make-shift left-wing back since his arrival from Udinese two years ago and has been up to the task.

However, with Andrea Pirlo injured and Claudio Marchisio suspended, Conte is keen in bringing the 25-year-old into the middle, according to FootballItalia.

If Asamoah is kept on the flank, then Simone Padoin will be fielded instead.

Conte is already eyeing Napoli's Zuniga to be his permanent left back to free Asamoah to move to his normal position.
