Kevin reveals bust-up with Schalke fan

Ghana midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng has revealed he was involved in a row with a Schalke 04 fan over the weekend during their home game with Werder Bremen which they won 3-1.

Schalke were down 1-0 during the first half, and the fan verbally attacked Boateng to register his dissatisfaction about how the team was playing.

But Boateng did not only reply with a brace but also fired back verbally.

“I told him he should shut up and cheer us on in the second half," Boateng said. "The reason why the fan attacked me was that he was dissatisfied and expressed his irritation concerning some poor passes I gave."

“The hardest thing for us is when we have our own fans against us. We are all still young, we make mistakes,” he added.

The former Milan player engineered Schalke’s victory by firing a double before Jefferson Farfan sealed the win with a last minute goal.
