King Faisal In High Spirit

The players of King Faisal F.C. received a major boost yesterday when the founder of the Club Alhaji Karim Grunsah arrived in Zimbabwe to announce per diem of $280 for the playing body, according to Kapital Radio?s Out.

In a short address at the training grounds, Grunsah told the boys not to be intimidated by the partisan crowd expected at the stadium on Sunday. Earlier, the players had unanimously declared war against their opponents at their own backyard.

In a related development the Managing Director of the Club, George Amoako has debunked the notion that King Faisal are going as mere participants and not competitors.

In a telephone interview with SPACE FM, Mr. Amoako queried: ?If the Coca Cola Champions are going as mere participants, what are the others going to do?, in apparent reference to Kotoko, Hearts and Liberty Professionals.

Though their opponents are not faring too well in their local league, Power Dynamos are reputed to have the largest support base in Zimbabwe.
