Kingston call to Hearts for a fresh deal

Laryea "LARRY" KINGSTON today confirmed his desire to sign a new deal with Hearts and remain at Tynecastle next season as he implored the club's management to open contract discussions as soon as possible. The 29-year-old becomes a free agent at the end of the campaign when his current three-year contract expires, and he is keen to finalise his future.

After regaining favour under manager Jim Jefferies, he harbours ambitions of becoming a permanent fixture in the Hearts midfield next year. "It's getting close to the end of the season so I'm ready to talk any time," said Kingston.

Kingston expects to participate in the World Cup finals with Ghana but is keen for his club future to become clear before then. "It's not really about the World Cup, I don't want to be thinking whether I am staying or going for the next few weeks."
