Kingston puts country before club

Laryea Kingston's Hearts future is hanging by a thread after he declared himself fit for his country but not his club, reports the Scottish Sun.

The Ghana international has missed all five of the Jambos' games this season through injury.

But the midfielder played the last 16 minutes of his nation's World Cup qualifier with Sudan on Sunday.

That has infuriated boss Csaba Laszlo, who said: "Larry must come back from the national team and after that we will see.

"I don't like to talk about this situation at the moment. But definitely I need players who give 100 per cent for Heart of Midlothian.

"If Larry is back we will sit round the table and discuss this situation. We will clear everything up very quick. We have a young team and we need everybody.

"Once Larry is there we will get together and look at what comes out. Then maybe there will be a decision."
