Kotoko Board to meet over Duncan appointment

Footy-ghana.com understands that the Board of Directors of Premier League champions Asante Kotoko, will meet today to discuss the intended appointment of David Duncan as Mas-Ud Dramani’s replacement.

Dramani, who guided the team to win two consecutive league titles as well as an FA Cup, was on Monday asked to proceed on leave following an indifferent start to the season

The reigning league champions have been able to manage two wins, three defeats and two draws, and currently lie 10th on the league log.

Footy-ghana.com revealed earlier this week that the ‘Porcupine Warriors’ have reached an agreement with former Hearts of Oak and Great Olympics trainer David Duncan as a replacement for Dramani, who is not likely to return as the head coach of the club again.

Footy-ghana.com sources reveal that the Paul Adu Gyamfi-led board would have thorough deliberations on Duncan when they meet at the club’s secretariat on Saturday, before appointing him to lead the club’s technical team.

Footy-ghana.com understands that the club will hand Duncan an initial 2-year deal.
