Kotoko Coach Keeps Debrah Out

The head coach of Asante Kotoko, Ernst Middendorp is reportedly resisting former Kotoko striker, Joe Debrah’s career come back with the porcupine worriors. The former striker is said to be making moves to rejoin the Kotoko fold to train after he failed to adhere to camping rules.

Debrah who returned from Germany some months ago started training with his former club BUT is finding it very difficult to make the grade.

The club’s coach, Middendorp gave Debrah a three-day EXCUSE-DUTY to settle other responsibilities in Accra. He ended up overstaying and rather spent nine days.

Ernst Middendorp, says for a player who is struggling to regain his fitness and yet failing to adhere to the rules and instructions “ might not be ready to play this moment”.

The coach has further directed the former striker to talk to the Clubs management about what he needs to do.

In other development, Kotoko’s striker, Shilla Alhassan is in Germany to begin trials with German Bundesliga club Hertha Berlin. Shilla is expected to be away for one week.
