Kotoko & Hearts To Release 3 Players Each

HEARTS OF OAK and Asante Kotoko have agreed to release three players each for Ghana's World Cup qualifier against Liberia.

Both Hearts of Oak and Kotoko are to take part in the VODACOM African Challenge Cup and at first were reluctant to allow any players to play in the qualifier on July 1.

But the clubs and The Black Star's caretaker coach Fred Osan Duodu have reached an amicable solution with the Ghanaian FA which will see half-a-dozen players link up with the national squad.

Hearts have released James Nanor, Charles Taylor and Jacob Nettey, while Isaac Owusu, Godwin Ablordey and Osei Boateng have joined from Kotoko.
