Kotoko ban Supt Sumaila

THE Regional Circles Council of Kumasi Asante Kotoko has asked Superintendent Sumaila to stay away from all Kotoko matches at the Kumasi Stadium.

At an emergency meeting held last Wednesday, all the members of the Circles Council, an association of Kotoko supporters; “unanimously decided that due to Mr Sumaila’s persistent bias and intimidation of many a Kotoko supporter during Kotoko matches at the Kumasi Stadium, which could no more be countenanced, he, in his own interest, be asked to stay away from all matches involving Kotoko at the Kumasi Stadium”.

“What broke the camel’s back was his manhandling of the P.R.O. of Kotoko last Tuesday during Kotoko/King Faisal friendly at the Kumasi Stadium”, a statement signed by Mr K. Boateng, on behalf of all circles, dated March 10, said.

• The Life Patron of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Outmfuo Osei Tutu II, would meet the following group of people to discuss pertinent issues of the club on Saturday at the Conference Room of the National House of Chiefs at 11:00 am.

The groups are the past and present chairmen and chief executives, all patrons, past board members, national executive members, national members of AKOPA, national executives of Kotoko ladies, national executives of Kotoko Welfare Club and past and present managements of Kotoko Under-20 side.

A release signed by Mr Kofi Owusu Boateng, personal secretary to Asantehene, entreated all to honour the invitation for the good of Kumasi Asante Kotoko Football Club.
