Liberty Professionals director George Afriyie doubts if Asante Kotoko have the financial wherewithal to sign Latif Blessing.

Blessing finished top scorer of the Ghana Premier League with 17 goals and has been linked with a move away from the financially stricken club.

His suitors have been Kotoko and other clubs on the continent but Afriyie has pointed out the Porcupine Warriors cannot meet his asking price.

"Can Kotoko really afford for Latif Blessing?,” Silver FM.

"Today, Kotoko don’t have the financial power in purchasing players at their exorbitant prices.

"We all do same type of business nowadays when it comes to buying players. But we (Liberty Professionals) are business oriented and so we’ll not have any problem to enter into deal with them.

"If only Kotoko were able to meet our price target and finally the player also decides to go, then we shall be ready to strike a transfer deal with them.

"Also if the deal will help his career as our asset as there’s the need to also consider a whole lot of factors that will help him also before finally cashing in on him."
