Kotoko players to receive special bonus

Players and technical staff members of Asante Kotoko will be given a total sum of GH¢35,000 on Thursday as reward for the team’s perfomances this season.

The club’s Executive Chairman, Dr. Kofi Kodua Sarpong told Kumasi-based radio station Kessben FM that the money was a special bonus being given to reward and motivate the team, which is two wins away from winning this year’s Glo Premier League.

Dr. Sarpong also told Kessben FM that the fund raising exercise undertaken by the club at the game yesterday yielded an amount of GH¢14,000, adding that the revenue figures from yesterday’s big game against Hearts of Oak were yet to be confirmed.
