Dreams FC head coach, C. K. Akunnor has called on the supporters and the media in Kumasi to rally and supports interim coach for Kotoko, Michael Osei.
The second round of the have been very bad for the Warriors. Kotoko suffered their heaviest defeat in the league when Cape Coast Ebusua Dwarfs by 4:1 at the Cape Coast Stadium. Kotoko drew with title rivals Accra Hearts of Oak and lost to New Edubiase by 2:1.
The inconsistent performance of the club and coach in the second round of the league led the appointment of Malik Jabir as a technical manager for the Kumasi based. Pressure seems to have mounts on Michael Osei but the former Black Stars captain have urged the supporters and the media to supports Michael.
Speaking Asempa Sports, Akunnor said, “I want to say one thing. I am appealing to the supporters and media here in Kumasi that you should please allow Michael to work.
“It is not easy to coach Kotoko or Hearts of Oak. Michael is a son of Kotoko so rally behind him support him because he is still one the club great players for Kotoko.
“He has served the club and he has been the assistant coach for the club under Didi Dramani, under Coach Duncan and he is now the head coach of the club
