Kurt Okraku has announced his decision to resign as General Manager of Wassaman United.
The 41-year-old however dismissed any immediate perception that the decision was bourne out of the poor form of the newly promoted club in the Premier League.
Rather, Okraku insists the change is to afford him concentrate more on his company; Proton Sports Services (one of the firms that handled the Sammy Kuffour testimonial match).
“I can confirm to you that I have left Wassaman United so I can focus more on my work at my company,” Okraku told GHANAsoccernet.com.
“There are no hard feelings and I could only wish the club well in their Premier League campaign.”
This means the prominent FA Cup Committee member who was handed the post at the beginning of the campaign spent just over two-months at the helm of affairs.
Wassaman are currently languishing at the foot of the Premier League log with just seven points out of twelve games.
