Ghana's ace sports commentator Kwabena Yeboah has been elected as the spokesman for the African Sports Journalists Union (ASJU).
The election which was held at the just ended All African Games in Nigeria, saw Mitchel Obi of Nigeria elected as the President.
Obi leads an executive with three vice-presidents from South Africa (Maseru Koaho), Egypt (Medhat Moniuafi) Congo DR while the secretary-general, Mbaye Jacques is from Senegal.
Kwabena Yeboah who is the publisher of "Africa Sports" newspaper is expected to speak on key issues affecting African sports on behalf of the union, at its next meeting billed for Tunis during the African Nations Cup in January next year.
