Kwadwo Asamoah stepped up his return to full fitness by playing in Juventus’ friendly against fifth division side Cheraschese last Friday.
The Ghana international, who has been sidelined since November last year, played 20 minutes as the Old Lady won 3-1 with goals from Alvaro Morata, Dybala and Stefano Pellini.
Asamoah delayed return to the pitch has forced Juventus to exclude him from their UEFA Champions League squad.
The 25-year-old suffered a career threatening injury and underwent surgery in November last year to correct a cartilage in his left knee.
