Kwame Nsor hails Metz capture of Malouda

Ex-Ghana U17 striker Kwame Nsor has expressed delight at the arrival of former Chelsea star Florent Malouda at Metz.

The 34-year-old has been without a club since leaving Turkish side Tranbszonspor at the end of last season, and returns to his native France for the first time on a season’s contract since he left Lyon for Stamford Bridge in 2007.

And, Nsor who is nursing an injury and has not featured for Metz in the Ligue 1 since the start of the season is thrilled with his arrival.

“Malouda is a great and fantastic player my club have signed and I am ready to learn a lot from him because he has played at the highest level,” he told Goal Ghana.

“He has played at the World Cup finals, won titles with Lyon in France and Chelsea in England and has seen it all. He will be a great source of inspiration to us the young ones here.”

Malouda is expected to up the experience at Metz and help them beat relegation from the French top-tier league.
