The Norway based goalkeeper is set to make his debut in Accra with Stevanovic keen to shake up the goalkeeping department following recent high profile errors by established first choice Richard Kingson and his inactivity at club level.
Kwarasey had been named as first choice for the international friendly against Nigeria before it was called off in August this year.
But KickOffGhana.com understands Stevanovic will stick to that Watford choice. And it will be a dramatic choice but one informed by Kingson's recent failings and lack of game time.
The former Blackpool goalkeeper is on the lookout for a club after he was released by the English side and has not played a competitive game at club level since losing his starting place towards the end of last season's Premier League.
Kingson's errors in a Nations Cup qualifier against Congo in Kumasi and a friendly against South Korea a few days later seems to have convinced the Serbian he needed more compelling competition for the veteran goalkeeper, something Kwarasey provides.
The 23 year-old who was cleared by Fifa recently after appearing for Norway at junior level played over thirty games for Norway Cup winners Stromgodsted last season and has started the season again as first choice including in their Europa league two leg tie against Atletico Madrid.
