Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk midfielder Derek Boateng has described Black Stars head coach Kwasi Appiah as a good coach, adding that the players have to show discipline and hard work in training to support him.
‘Kwasi Appiah is a good coach. We have worked with him for a long time, from when he was the team’s assistant coach. Now he is the head coach, there is not much of a difference. What we as players have to do is to show discipline and hard work in training to support him.’
Boateng also noted that every player is training very hard to earn a spot in the trimmed 23-man squad. ‘With two games ahead of us, everyone is training very hard to ensure selection into the final squad.’
