LG Top Four contest kicks off on Sunday

Come Sunday, the nation's current four topmost clubs will begin the search for the plume prize of the high profile LG Top Four contest.

At the Accra and Kumasi stadia respectively, the four clubs, Hearts of Oak, Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Liberty Professionals and Great Olympics, will define their destinies in the competition as they tackle their maiden assignments.

In Accra, title holders, Hearts, clash with tough rivals Liberty Professionals in a thrilling derby, while Kotoko encounter Olympics at the Kumasi Stadium.

Already, each participating club is ?50m richer in the name of participation fees. However, there are more financial incentives waiting depending on how well each team fares in the entire contest.

For the first prize, ?25m goes with the ultimate trophy while ?15m, ?10m and ?5m will fall for the other positions respectively in that order.

The Ghalca event promises to provide the thrills and excitement needed to usher in the next soccer season.
